Danny is a 14 year old ninth grader in High School.  He is a bright student that is working toward the Common Core State Standards.  He often engages verbally in his classes, and his teachers report that he often excels in class debates and discussions, but his writing is disorganized.  His teachers are also concerned that his handwriting is barely legible and that he rarely writes the required amount for a class.  Many times when given a constructed response Danny will write a few sentences to a paragraph and then stop when the requirement for the lesson was to write an essay.
